Bruno Choumon

Dealing with emerging and frontier market risks led Bruno Choumon to create in 2016  Shem Energy Ltd, a UK based company that designs, builds

and finances solar power stations as well as hybrid power Plants (Solar-Gas) backed by Power Purchase Agreements.

Bruno held director and managing director positions in his career in bond trading, asset management, credit structuring with different

underlying assets (Credit,CDS, Interest Rates, Residential and Commercial Mortgages, Receivables, Loans, Shipping/Aircraft loans, FX,

Commodities, Life Insurance).

Bruno has been a Founding Partner and a Board Member  since 2007 of IdVector Ltd, Research&Development R&D Fund based in London that

brings Institutional quality investment to R&D.

From 2014 to 2016, Bruno worked at Berkeley Asset Management in London,Mayfair, a hedge fund specialized in distressed assets.

Prior to Berkeley AM, Bruno worked for two swiss investment firms from 2011 to 2014 Banque HERITAGE - Geneva then for its subsidiary

HERITAGE Capital -London followed by Swiss Investment Corp.

Bruno worked previously at EVOLUTION Securities in 2010/2011 after he joined in 2007 HSH NORDBANK a german bank, leader in shipping,

aircraft and renewable energy financing.

In 2002, Bruno was in charge credit and interest rate structuring for continental Europe at NOMURA that he left in 2005.

From 1998 to 2001, He was Head of Credit Derivative Structuring at Société Générale where he launched the first French CLO, Polaris, jointly

with LEHMAN following the 2 programmes Certain Funding and Antalis to fund Société Générale balance-sheet.

At BARCLAYS Capital, from 1995 to 1997, Bruno played a key role as a Head of Credit Trading to get in 1996 the prestigious SVT primary

dealership status (Spécialiste en Valeurs du Trésor).

He started his career at Credit Agricole Indisuez Group in 1989 as a credit trader, then a structured credit trader.

Bruno is a graduated and certified Actuary from ISFA (Institut de Sciences Financière et Actuarielle), degree concluded by a thesis on yield

curve modelling applied to credit risk implying endogenous and exogenous factors in the framework of Asset and Liability Management.

Bruno is fluent in french (native), english, spanish.
